My name is Pierre Alexis BALAZ, I am French, and I created Mediglotte in February 2014, during my fifth year of medical school in Nîmes.

After a childhood spent between France and Scotland, I went through my teenage years in Greece (in Athens), where I graduated from high school, before returning to France to study at the Montpellier-Nîmes faculty of medicine.

At the end of my studies, I completed my residency and then my specialisation in emergency medicine between Marseille, Toulon and Avignon.

Once I had my medical doctorate, I worked for a year in the emergency department and mobile emergency unit of Henri Duffaut hospital (Avignon). I am now an emergency physician with the Marseille Naval Fire Battalion (BMPM).

I also work occasionally with Médecins du Monde, caring for migrant patients from all over the world.
